Leiner & Wolff was founded in 2003 in Heidelberg as a spin-off of the European Media Laboratory, a research facility of the Klaus Tschira Foundation. In 2006, the company’s innovative approach was recognized when Dr. Richard Leiner and Rüdiger Wolff were presented with the Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar’s research and innovation prize.
